Guest Lecture Week 2

Guest speaker John Power discussed the upcoming MAGI Expo, its purpose and the types of work that could be exhibitied.

As the nature of an art expo is to "expose" one's work, your art will expose who you are and what value you place in art. While displays may still be works in progress or pre-production pieces, we were reassured that it's always interesting to see the development of a concept and its iterations, not just a final polished product.

Power was accompanied by a small group of MAGI students who exhibited works in the previous year. They mentioned their exhibited pieces and tips for an enjoyable and successful expo this year, before taking us on a short tour of the exhibition space.
