Propose an idea to your partner upon assessing their need for the product.
For this exercise, I worked in a 3 man team and had two different takes on what could be a product for me.
It was an interesting exercise as it opened my mind to more possibilities and it was refreshing to see how others interpreted
my interests and gave suggestions upon that. Showing an unfinished work felt a bit dissapointing yet satisfying at the same time, it gave me a good idea of how real time ideas are generated and the value of thinking critically. The pace while being overwhelming, still felt like it pushed me to think fast and make something instead of dwelling on something for too long.
Upon reflection, I'd say doing the making the product prototype would be a stage I would like to do again so that I could convey my idea better.
I really want to try this exercise once again once the partner has a more efined sense of what they want, it would be interesting to see what changes.
In terms of Ideas, Henry gave me an idea to consider working towards a fighting game, while making a lovely model of the UI/UX of how he saw it.
Peter was interestingly in harmony with Henry's idea but he envisioned it as a VR experience. He too made a very interesting model to showcase how the experience may look like.
I'm not too sure about the game direction, however I do take the suggestion of interactivity and am moving forward with it.
