In response to the theme of "Forces", I created an animation loop that presents an amusement park. I set up three restrictions for my work, which are:
1.Monochrome.
2. One texture.
3. All the elements contain an arc shape.
By considering the elements in an amusement park and listing the elements I need in the scene, such as sky wheel, pirate ship, roller coaster, and carousel, etc. Then modelling all the elements and animate it. I choose orange as my colour and plastic as my shading material. I use tinkering as my method of creating the models and follow the arc shape rule to iterate the models. When I finished it, I found that if I set up the rules as constraints, then abide by the rules, it can bring a quite harmonious result.
During the process of iterating the track of the roller coaster, I found it is hard to make a smooth track in C4d, I searched all the tutorials about how to build a train track on YouTube, I still did not find a perfect solution, after the researches I did I realized that soften the vertex of the spline for the train track can bring a better result. I will try my best to continue searching for the solutions for the train track, I hope I can bring better news soon.
Similar work has been produced by Gene Yong, whose work "Wood Land "explores this theme by following limited rules to build a beautiful wooden amusement park.
