In response to the theme Rules and Forces, I created an illustration for lay's chips to show my feeling after eating a strange taste. I was guided by three rules: first rule: colorful black second rule:The object needs to be selected from the things purchased in the supermarket third rule: can't make more than two PS layers
I use this illusory effect to express my dizziness and discomfort after eating it. The potato chip bag is white, which means that you don't know whether it tastes good or not before you try it. The colorful potato chips mean different tastes, and the messy lines behind them represent the crisp taste. Some black color chips mean it's unpalatable.
Chinese Lay always tries to produce some chips with a strange taste like Bayberry, beer, milk sugar, coffee. I know it's probably unpalatable, but I still buy it and have a try. But yesterday, Lay's chips with roasted oysters and garlic made me vomit. These strange flavors have a name in China -- "dark cuisine". This fit one of my rules-- colorful black. Although there are many flavors of Lay's just like various colors, it is always "black".
