In response to the theme of "Character, environment, and events" I created a short animation that demonstrates the relationship between the three factors. In the animation, global warming has led to the sea-level rise, and the land has become more precious, the higher sea-level rising, the higher building people build.It's like a despairing loop.
By modelling 3d objects and animating it, then rendering it into 2d style. During the rendering I found when I try to cover the old version of rendering with a new one, lots of elements in my scene disappear. It takes a while to find out this reason. Thus it better to create a new saving path than using the old one.
Similar work has been produced by Ferdi Rizkiyanto, whose work New version of "Time" explores this theme by creating a sand clock that shows the plants we are living is in an urgent situation. More pollution we have made more dangerous we are going to be.
