CPS Week5 - Object Orientated Ontology

In response to the theme “object orientated ontology”, I used photoshop to make two illustrations.

 My starting point is about considering the world from a non-human perspective, so the character in my illustration is an object or animal. I try to make these illustrations like the comic book illustration, I hope it conveys some fun and humor to spectators. Also, I think this medium is one of the good ways to respond to this theme because it allows me to increase my imagination to even create some unreal or unreasonable things.

My inspiration comes from a comic book, called Sleepless, created by Tango. The author really good at finding the art and humor in the mundane, his cartoons are sometimes funny, sometimes thought-provoking, and sometimes both. His subject normally is plucked from everyday life, cat, smartphones, etc.
