In response to the theme of 'Found Object', I made a small character from the waste cloth and beads, gum boxes, glue and wool at home. I call this work greedy slug.
I used beads as simulated moss and wool to expand the slug's mouth to show its greedy characteristics. In the main part, I wrapped the gum box with cloth to keep the slug's belly empty and put beads in it. I want to try this idea. Waste things will always find their destination.
In Sandy Babb's works of Art（ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lD5leMAsYM ), she used the same idea, she collects old things, or objects from nature, such as leaves. She likes to put these old things together and make some beautiful books. Although I don't have so many old things and the things I'm looking for are not old enough, I hope I can use them as effectively as she does.
