In response to the theme of tinkering, I made paper practice using paper, scissor and phone lighting. By continuous folding the paper, the one-dimensional paper can be transformed into two-dimensional shapes. Geometric patterns displayed on the paper when I unfold it. I tried a few random cuts on the paper to change the outer shape. I also cut few times and used the cut lines to folded it to be a three-dimensional work. By adding the light, the negative space is utilized to create shadow. Similar work has been produced by Polly Verity who exploring and creating new dimension to origami.
