In response to the week’s theme of observation, I made a digital drawing that shows a combination of geometry and abstraction by photoshop, inspired by my observation object, a unique necklace. By covering a complex abstract in a clean geometry shape, I was able to show two extremes of contrast. I wanted to highlight an opinion that a combination of objects that look completely different can produce unexpected visual impact. Similar themes are present in American artist Erik Jones’s work, The work has a lot of colours and unexpected abstract elements with geometric shapes, making it unforgettable.
