In response to the theme of Character and Events, I made a landscape material using the shader in Unreal Engine. By moving the “character” around the environment, I show that the environment can affect the material on the character. I can also decide how much environment can affect the character by adjusting the variable. Similar work has been produced by Quixel Megascan, who’s work ‘Medieval Game Environment ’ uses similar technics to create an immersive environment.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSsYIGOFQCs
