In response to this week's theme: Time, I designed a project to explore time passing. By taking photos of the same scene continuously for four hours at the frequency of once a minute, I can capture the changes of the scene, mainly the changes in people's walking and light. These photos are arranged in chronological order and combined with an actual video. The inspiration comes from a case shared in Max's presentation, the shortest day at the Van Abbemuseum from Jan Dibbets (1970). Based on this inspiration, I try to combine two different speed time clips. Moreover, to better focus on time, I choose to study it in the same scene.
