This is a 2D avoiding game

For this week theme Time, I have made a 2D game which exploring mechanic about time controlling.

By doing this I have learnt how to record character’s moving track and how to replay or backward it. I could also record character’s status, and this is an interesting idea which can be used in some battles related to time. For example, player can backward the time to the battle start, but boss will not be affected, so that player can get high fault tolerance when challenging stronger boss.

This idea comes from a boss battle in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

At the beginning of this battle, player’s status and position will be recorded. An hourglass has been set in the most back of battle ground. Player can click this hourglass to reset their status, position and skills’ cooldown to the start. It will also clear dangerous areas made by boss. Boss will not be affected so player can beat him step by step.

Control:

W/S - Move forward/backward

A/D - Steering

Esc - Quit

Space - Cheat(backward time)
