CPS Week 7 - Time

In response to the theme of Time, I wanted to explore displaced time so I made an animation using photoshop of a dog watching his owner on a tv set.

By having the dog watch the tv and nudge its nose against the screen, I wanted to portray us as human beings using technology as a way of communicating live to a dog that does not understand technology. The dog nudges the tv but it cannot comprehend the view that is in front of him as it doesn't not smell or feel the owner physically.

During the process I was thinking of all the times that people use technology to communicate with their pets and I wandered if pets even know what that means. I was also inspired by videos of people showing their pets videos of other pets and them being confused when they cannot physically touch or smell the other being.
