CPS week 7 Characters place events

Theme: Flying disc dog

Context: 

A man is flying disc with his dog. Ans, oh no, what does his enegetic dog pick back?

Mehtod:

I draw the foregraoud and background in Photoshop and import them in After Effects. Then, I use simple rectangles with a couple of triangles as my characters and animate their position and scale. To simulate human dog and tiger's characteristic, I try to add more details in their movement, like subtle transformation when the characters react with other's actions.

Response:

I am interested in how the simple shapes represent complex characters by animating their actions. After I finished the animation, I showed the sequence to my classmates. They can recognized what they saw, also they are excited with the end that the dog actually pick a tiger back. The next thing to do is making the sound tracks to get more realistic characters and environments.
