CPS_ Week 7_ Characters, Place and Events

Theme: Characters, Place and Events

In this week, I thought of doing something related to my studio 2 project. In the beginning of creating my AGI Studio 2 project, I thought of creating a horror game bringing feeling of fear and creepiness. I really wanted to focus on something I was more interested in, but later I changed my idea entirely. As this task is about Characters and Events, I decided to take my concept idea of horror and make something.

Method:  I created a small animation in the perspective of a first person blinking. Each time the person blinks, people and the world changes each time into something creepy. I started of by taking a picture outside of people passing. When I came back to class I decided to do something in photo-shop and explore the tools around. Chris showed me a tool called the liquefy. The tool seemed to be very interesting and it gave me a lot of ideas of what I can do in this task. I decided to play around with the tool and started distorting the images.

It’s all about attention where you look at the video and notice the change when it flickers. This video was very interesting, and inspiring

Response: After finishing this task, I was really happy and it made me laugh everytime I looked at it. The video is uploaded onto the magi site.
