In response to this week’s theme of ‘Time’,  I made a short animation about Battōjutsu. This is a kind of attack that often appears in animation. It's as fast as time has solidified.

By making this animation. I made it almost according to the complete 2D animation process. Why do I do this? This is the first time for me to make an action play of this kind of scene. I want to sort out this process completely, which is also a foreshadowing for the folio 2 project of my studio1 course. Through the summary after production, I think this is a very good way of expression, which not only greatly improves the production efficiency but also does not reduce the tension of expression. I will try different ways to express this sense of speed in the future.

A similar work is One-Punch Man produced by Madhouse animation company. In the twelfth episode of the first season, the attack method of Atomic Samurai is expressed through this production method. The expression method of this work has always been what I want to try to learn.
