In response to the theme of Time, I made a short 3D animation which shows an unknow creature walking. The work shows that the character started out as an ordinary brown ball, and finally turned into a disordered object made of metal.
By modeling in C4D and changing the material index of the character, I want to show that this creature has superpowers. In addition, by making transition effects in Premiere, this work shows the transition between 3D and 4D, and the shape of the character in the 4D world is shown by frame freeze.
I was inspired by book Genius or maniac？that interviews mental patients. In book, the concept of the four-dimensional world is discussed in detail. Another similar work is Next, in which many clones of the protagonist are in the same scene.
