CPS Week 5- Object Oriented Ontology”

In response to this week’s theme of “Object Oriented Ontology”, I produced an 30 second abstract video to demonstrate a green plant is ‘decorated’ and ‘bred’ by girl’s make-up palette to build a more fresh and colourful office. 

By exaggerating the ‘colourful’ characteristic of make-up palette, I expanded the existence of make-up palette to decorate the plant and world instead of being used by human only for dressing up. 

Related work comes from coffee paint while the idea of coffee paint attracts me as coffee is not served people for the morning use but stands on the side of coffee art, it exists as a unique coffee art style with its own nature & texture. In this case, coffee is not a serving stuff but a kind of art. This inspires me to explore the object of make-up palette to make it join a new contribution of this world instead of locking it in human use.
