CPS Week 5- Fire alarm, Sprinkler and Elctrical

An animation of how my room been fired...

Sentence 1:

Response to this week theme Objects are not exhausted, I tried to find relationship between stove, fire alarm, sprinkler and electrical. 

Sentence 2:

By doing this I showed how objects in my room can relate to each other and I also tried to replace real objects by using texts. I found text can shows sound although in a mute animation.

Sentence 3:

This work inspired by some artworks I have seen in TV when I was 10-12 years old. It is very hard to find those videos now. Those videos are stop motion animation and those authors used texts to replace real objects.

Theme: Objects are not exhausted

Context:

I tried to find relationship between stove, fire alarm, sprinkler and electrical. 

Method:

Reflection:

It took me very long time on considering how objects in my room related to each other without my influence. The process is hard but interesting.

I focused on my fire alarm and randomly pick an object in my room. Trying to find their connection, for example the first object I picked is window.

The connection I found is "Alarm sound -> Force -> Break the window". But I found it is hard to make an animation in short time, so I given it up.

Then I found the sprinkler and it already has linked with fire alarm. So I change my focus from alarm to sprinkler and then found electrical under it.

I think through this practice I have learnt a new way to observe the world and also I understand that I shouldn't put those electricals under the sprinkler.
