In response to the theme of Environment, I built a scene and animated a short clip using Blender.
By using filtering and modern tech over low-poly pixel art, with modelling reminiscent of PSX graphics, I showed that a simple scene can be used to produce something with a lot of atmosphere and a sense of realism if focusing on the concepts of Liminal Space.
Similar work has been produced by Max Verehin, whose All Father animations explore similar creepy, sparse spaces by using the PSX aesthetic and solid art/sound direction. Liminal Space was also a strong component of the CreepyPasta "The Backrooms", which I have sort to recapture in my animation.
