CPS Week 4 Discussion of Place

In response to week fours theme of "Discussion of Place", I created place within a head by drawing the inner workings of a person as if they had little versions of themselves running around controlling the place. In the image I have illustrated forgotten thoughts, memories, locked memories, ideas and inspirations. By creating these divided spaces, I link the space back to the person and their sense of self. The little versions of them are running around trying to remember a forgotten idea that is soon to be resparked. I wanted to highlight that the internal thoughts are in themselves an internal world, and therefore a place too.

This was done in a way that was similar to Spongebob’s Brain Office cast where his brain has smaller versions of himself running around to go through computers or filing systems to find the information sources he requires.
