In response to the theme of Found Object, I made a frame by frame animation piece of a cup of coffee that sprouts spring onion to then turn into an ambiguous noodle bowl on Photoshop.
By doing so I wanted to show the thought processes of how my mornings usually are. By starting with a cup of coffee, it made me hungry which then developed into the thought of having some form of food to fill the void. I wanted to play with this concept of something developing over time and enough patience would turn it into a reward.
Similar work has been created in many different procrastination apps such as Forest which is designed for users to not touch their phones during a work or study session. If the user is able to leave the phone alone a tree will sprout. If disturbed, the animation cycle starts over.
