CPS Week 3 | Found Objects

In response to the theme of found objects, I experiemented with creating various materials such as chainmaile and woven washi "fabric" from objects on my desk. My initial idea was that I would create objects that were stronger once placed in a structured pattern (uniformity) however the paperclips for example didn't stay in place.

I did however create a swatch of woven washi that I found attractive, which again became a found object when I repurposed it to create a loop to keep my journal shut. This shows that objects only have the permanence we give them.
