In response to the theme of week 7, Times, I made a short interaction piece with Adobe XD. I want to explore how time can be used in UX-UI design.
I created a small illustration based on a project I’m focusing on. The face of the character is placed in the middle of the screen. The users will control the interface by clicking on the face of the character. The background behind will change as a result. The details around the character will respond also.
This is the first time I play with Auto-Animate in Adobe XD. I used to think that Adobe XD has a lot of limitations. After discovering this function, I need to admit I was wrong. This is one of the most useful things I have discovered in a while. With Auto-Animate, the interaction can really come to life. It is not that hard to learn also. I finished this project based on this tutorial. However, there is a problem with the final interaction. I intend to make the arrow go clockwise. But for some reason, it just goes the other direction. I will need some time to figure out how to fix this.
I can definitely see myself apply this discovery to my future UX-UI interactions.
