CPS - Week 11

My interpretation for this theme is: One thing's end is the born of another things. This idea is initially from the research I did for my studio work about how one scent's structure is changed after the act of sniffing.

Method:

I’m making a loop of how the black elements end so that the white elements can be born and vice versa.

Response:

An experimental animation to express the stillness synesthesia of odor.

Reflection:

I took me more than a week to decided my response for the theme. I use the same context that I've used in APD to understand the theme. The loop animation is a bit different from all of the component works I've created during the course, however, I received some feedbacks in my instagram saying that the animation makes them feel calm and peaceful hypnotizing. I found these feedbacks/ reactions are really valuable because they've reached the intention that I aimed for the theme.
