In response to the theme of Observation, I created a stylised replica of a videotape in lowpoly 3D with pixelart texturing using Blender. By reducing the many surface details down to their essential shapes I have sort to bring them into focus, making their surprising perliferation as noticeable to the viewer in a short amount time as they were for me after 15 minutes of analysis. Similar work has been produced by KIRA (Game Dev), whose work Lost in Vivo explores this theme by creating a solidily familiar world with minimal detail, one that also captures the atmosphere of old media while utilising modern techniques to do so.
