CPS - WEEK 1 - Observation - The Water Dispenser

In response to the theme of observation, I observed a drinking water dispenser at building 10, level 2 of the university and tried recreating the same in a solid line drawing style using a stylus pen and Adobe Photoshop 2020. Furthermore, I also created this object in Maya and created a 3d model of it. By doing so, I tried to imagine and recreate an object that we use daily to a new form and portray a strong effect and to enable the sense of power in the mind of an onlooker by using bold, single coloured lines. I got my inspiration as similar work has been produced by Pablo Picasso, whose work, “Portrait Of Igor Stravinsky” explores the theme by powerful lines which expresses sense of power in the work using solid lines.
