In response to the theme of observation, I made a digital collage through mix media.
By merging physical and digital object that represented me, I showed the my perspective of my image through my though.
Similar work has been produced by 46pgs, whose works explores this theme by paying homage towards the graphic designer in the 90s.
I try to observe myself and the first thing I did was to look for a self potrait. I used the cloud as stickers to block my face as I have low confidence about my appearance. I used words around that I think would I would use to descript myself. Overall, The collage was a package as a defination of how I view myself. I did all of it within photoshop. I also did a black and white version to act as a contrast with the colored version.
This work was highly inspired by 46pgs, where it uses strong images and typography that would conincide with the meaning of the work. For example, for the work, Love was deciped with related words and images that represents flowers. I also liked the style of their artwork, where there is a strong contrast between colors and using strong fonts, which gave a striking look to the viewers
