CPS Week 1 Observation

In response to week ones theme of “Observation”, I produced a pen sketch of the observations made of the BBQ ledge and the pot plants on it. By observing and taking my time to notice different detailed elements such as rust and dirt on the ledge or the web line from the llama pot connecting it further to the BBQ, I showed the possibilities of how details  contribute to artworks. I wanted to highlight the importance of detail by using a rough and unforgiving medium, and how every little piece of it becomes notable if you look at something for long enough.
