Objects are not exhausted.
What if objects don’t exist solely for you to use, to see , to experience?
Objects are not exhausted by our use of them.
Object- oriented ontology (OOO).
Without human use, presence or interaction, what do these objects do and how do they interact with each other
Context:
For my studio project, I am doing a 3D abstract animation using particles. I decided to take particles for this exercise. I thought about the purpose of dust and how it is formed from various sources such as soil, dust by wind, volcanic eruptions, pollution and etc. I looked around and noticed how quick dust is formed from an object that is laying in the same position for a long time. I will use an object such as a balloon to see the relationship of it with dust over time.
Method:
I will model a balloon in Autodesk Maya and decrease the size each time I take a screenshot to show the change of the balloon overtime. I will use nparticles to show the amount of dust that is formed overtime.
Response:
The video posted above.
