Theme: Character Place & Events

Context:

Robots and emergent behaviour - the lights on one robot affect the lights on other robots, which in turn affect other robot lights.

Method:

Create a unity generative animation of city lights escaping their buildings to burn brightly as fireworks

Response:

I started with the idea of bodies of water evaporating into clouds, which become rain, which refilles bodies of water. The water is in a loop of becoming. What if lights followed the same cycle, the afternoon sun breaks up tino city lights that become fireworks, the fireworks become evening stars and the evening stars coalesce into the morning sun. The response is the part of the cycle when city lights escape their rectangular prison to escape as glorious firewroks, only to burn out.
