Observation:
It is something to be observed. Whether it's an environment or an interaction. It is seen from our experiences and our senses when we smell, touch or see something. For this Week 1 task I decided to observe the clouds outside. I remember when I was little, I used to stare at the clouds and I could see figures of animals and human beings watching me. I read about this Argentian artist who takes pictures of clouds and draws the first thing that comes to his mind. By that I got inspired and wanted to observe what I see and what others see differently when they look at the clouds. I went outside and I just stared at the clouds and started clicking pictures. I started drawing on my phone and I could see all the different shapes and figures out of it. When I came back inside to the class, I gave my phone to a bunch of my classmates so that they can draw what they see when they look at the clouds. It was interesting to see what others observed because everyone can see differently. My classmates had a different perception of viewing clouds and it was incredible to see how my opinions were different.

Tinkering as method:
It is to play with the materials at hand and to make something by having no plan. This week 2 task I decided to make something out of nowhere. I looked around and found a bunch of clay piled up. I decided to do something new and make a stopmotion. When I was working on my studio 1 project in the first semester, I was actually planning to make a stopmotion. But then I started facing many problems, and I was using too much time to think about what I was going to do. So I changed my direction entirely to something else. Basically now was my first experience of doing a stopmotion. All I knew is that while making a stop motion I should move the character and click a photo in each frame. For context, I began to look at many art forms that use stopmotion animation to animate a movement of an object frame by frame by clicking a photo eachtime. One of them that I really liked was, Alex Unger who is a Swedish claymation animator and sculptor. He made a stopmotion called the magic soap. He focused on the technique used to simulate a bouncing motion. To me, everything seemed easy and I thought to myself that this task would be so easy for me. I took clay and I added the eyeballs so that it looks like a character. I started clicking pictures eachtime and moved the character side by side. I made many different videos and added some narrative story to my animation. I found it little difficult to make a stopmotion. I realized that this task wasn't easy at all. I wasn't really happy with the end results because it didn't look like anything and I couldn't understand what was happening there. As I continued to make more animations for my class task, I thought about some small narrative and started clicking pictures again. I started to see a big change and I was happy I was able to create something. As I gained alot of interest in making a stopmotion animation, I am thinking to explore and work more into depths for my next upcoming projects.

Found Objects:
It is where we consider an object as a material. For this week 3 task I decided to pick the objects that are near to me and create something creative. For I came across an artist named Rich McCor, who uses paper cut outs to transform famous landmarks into something else entirely. He places drawn characters on top or in front of the beautiful buildings. Fror this task I decided to use the objects beside me. I collected a box of pins, a pin, a furry ball, a pom pom which was attached to my bag, and clay. I used these objects to create some style of art. I drew images and placed an object beside it in a creative way. I used the objects and drew a pose of a character shooting and placed a pin beside it. It looked like the drawn image is shooting using a pin instead of a gun. Another one was where I made a pose of the character kicking a furry ball, I used the pom pom as the hair of the character, clay as a dress for the character and the box of pins as a purse as if a lady is carrying a purse or bag. I really liked the pin one and the box of pins because it looked interesting and it felt very creative to use those objects.

Discussions of place:
It is the setting of the way you place your character in an environment. This week 4 task I decided to collect images and combine the photos to make a new place. Chris showed us a video in class about changing sketches into Photorealistic masterpieces where the users of the software were able to sketch images that are nearly photorealistic. Instead of using the same software I decided that I will be using photoshop to explore my tools and creativity. While scrolling google, I found a blogspot about an artist named Suzanne Moxhay, she uses cutouts from books, magazines and her own photos to combine surrealistic and captivating artwork. She brings gloomy landscapes and cityscapes all together in one image and it looks real. For this task, I tried to relate it to my contexts, and decided to combine multiple images to make a scene. I collected a bunch of photos from my camera roll that were taken in Melbourne. I clicked photos of the building in shine of Remembrance, a garden with a big hill, and buildings of the city. I used these images and combined it to make scene using photoshop. I was happy with my results because it looked real and it felt like the image I created exists.

Objects are not exhausted:
The last two weeks we looked at how objects can be useful to us. Now we are exploring Object Oriented Ontology. We were to imagine objects that don't exist for us to see, use and experience. This week 5 task was about relating it to our studio work. In my Studio 2 project, I am working on an interactive game where we have to choose the correct two coloured spheres to make a particular color. We have to mix the colored spheres together to make another colour. I used this concept into my assignment where the two coloured spheres can interact with each other and make another colour. For this task I will be using Autodesk Maya. I will create two colored balls and use that to interact with each other. As the two colors blend in together it forms another color. For example, the two colored balls would be yellow and red. When these two colors mix together it forms an orange color.
