APD week7 Play and Sound

Week7 Play and Sound 

Theme

In response to the theme of Play and Sound. I try to visualize the sound. I use the notes "Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si," each letter represents a different picture, and I try to "play" a beautiful painting with "Little Star."

Context

In the example shared by Matt, I saw the APD work "Floral Beats" by MAGI student Carlo Tolentino http://magistudio.net/works?author=126. When he hit the drum head, different pictures would be generated on the computer, exciting. To be able to make the sound into a visible image, I think it is very worthwhile to study, but I can't play any instrument; I only know to Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si, and I don't have enough material to make an interactive piece. Still, I could make a song with those notes and make the song a picture that people could see.

Reflect

If I have enough material and I'll be able to expand this week's work into an extensive interactive game, I'll add more notes or even chords and more different pictures; people who play this game can do whatever they want. Play the tunes you want to play and see how beautiful the other songs can be.
