Inspiration:
In the past, the four elements were thought to be the basis of everything in the world. At the same time, in many film and television works or games, this setting is very far-reaching, the four attributes complement each other. Probably most people, like me, grew up wanting to be a magician who could use and manipulate the four elements, often waving spells with hands or homemade wands, so I really hope I can accomplish this idea visually.
Method:
This mobile game will be based on the most common mobile AR technology, and players can experience this game anytime and anywhere through mobile phones and a simple AR eye bracket. It then uses the phone's camera to capture the player's gestures to launch the skill, while also detecting the target distance to check that it hits the target by a score.
I made a simple AR glasses frame with the discarded paper box at home. In fact, similar shelves are sold in many places, and the price is very cheap. Compared with expensive VR equipment, this way will lower the threshold of playing, so that people can play anytime and anywhere. But the relative result is a loss of quality and performance.
Response & Reflection:
At present, this game is only in the concept stage, because it needs to deal with a lot of programming problems, which is not my strong point. However, I have consulted friends related to the programming direction, and they think that this game is feasible in terms of mechanism. Even though AR capture is not accurate, ordinary gesture recognition is still not too much problem. I'm looking forward to getting this game done.
