Method

Because I want to achieve a funny gif animation, it mainly describes my mood when drawing a picture. I draw a line but I wipe it off when I feel dissatisfied. This process is repeated countless times. The morning passed and I found that I had nothing to paint. I feel very depressed.

So I think using Photoshop to make Wacom pens and use after effects to make gif animations. A pen and eraser were made, and the eraser chased the pen to erase the handwriting.

Context

My inspiration came from Rafael Araújo’s work ‘My Gifs collection #5’. He made a lot of interesting gif animations and explored time and loops. From his works, I found that the gif diagram can make the loop very interesting and simple.

RESPONSE

To be honest, my initial idea was to draw an illustration of the renewal of game consoles. But after wasting a whole morning without drawing anything, I suddenly thought why not make such an interesting gif animation-the pen was running desperately trying to draw marks, and the eraser chased and erased the handwriting. There is nothing left in the final picture.
