Play and Time

Context:
In my opinion, the key to this week's theme is renewal, as everything in the natural world is renewing, and the self of today is different from the self of yesterday, and has changed. Games need to be updated to stay alive.According to the extension of the "Law of Conservation of Energy", things in motion must be transferring energy, which embodies animation. My inspiration comes from the Phenakistoscope in 1832, which is the origin of animation. It perfectly interprets the relationship between time and movement.

Method:

The whole process is the same as making a normal cartoon. The action of each frame is drawn, and the next frame makes some changes on the previous frame. The action object I selected is the constant pegasus, which is the flying horse. Connect the painted sequence frames into a closed loop with end to end, and finally install it on the wheel, so that when you turn the wheel, you will see the movement of the pegasus galloping.      

Response:
I was delighted with the result which was satisfing. I successfully realized the combination of time and movement with my own hands.

Reflection:

Applying this idea to the game is to implement updates, adding some new things to the original foundation, such as new actions, new scenes, new characters, and so on. It is these big and small updates that have witnessed the time and course.
