Theme: Play and Force
Method: This activity I going to follow this tutorial,
How to Animate like Don't Starve Together [Scribble Kibble]
so about the method of this exercise will not too much complex and use only ordinary skill
Firstly, I have to planning for the process of work such as which character that I going to work with and which action that I going to create. In this activity I interest to use my original character from AGI studio 2 project and create 2 emotions for him (Idle and hand wave)
Second, the drawing process, this one is very simple and ordinary 2D drawing but we have to separated almost every part of body (Head/Face/Body/Arm1/Arm2/Hand/Hand2/Body/Leg1/Leg2) After we finish all of this stuff we going too render them and separate them as PNG file
Third, import all of them in to AR software and order them in to the right positions, After that we going to create an animation by using transform functions, so we can play with many part as I created by making a simple move through our character.
Context: In the week, i suddenly have a chance to found this tutorial in youtube and that very interesting for me because i am a fanboy of don’t starve serie and this one is calling my for trying this thing out, do i decide to use my own character from my studio 2 project and turn him to be a don’t starve together style.
Therefore, This tutorial is very appropriate for me because this use only ordinary 2D painting and some particular skill in After Effect software. About the animation I choose 2 movement for this activity those are Idle and hand wave.
Response: In the first period I totally no idea that what I going to do in this exercise, because I feel like there is no interest in something that not new for me. However, after I have done some investigation in animation channel such like Deviantart/Instagram /Amino until i found this tutorial for this activity
After i get in touch with this one, i feel like this activity is more likely as playing more than work for me because this activity do not require too much energy.
