Context:
For this week's theme-play and nature, I was inspired by the ideas shared by my classmates. A classmate mentioned "Micro-world", and I think this idea is particularly great.
Because in life, I myself occasionally use some life materials to make micro scenes. For example, I have a fish tank myself, and all the scenery materials inside are collected and purchased by myself. Most of them are collected, and only some materials that I don't have, I buy them online. I really enjoy putting a microscopic world in a limited space and observing it, a bit like controlling a certain space. This feeling is very fascinating. So this week I am going to make a small world of my own from the perspective of the micro world. In fact, it takes a long time to make a micro world in real life, so I decided to change the method to complete my work. Complete the construction of your own micro world in the blender.
Method:
I used Blender to make this scene. First, I made a transparent cup, then added a land to it, and gave it a real land texture. In addition, I have spread all kinds of plants on this land. It looks very realistic. Then I made a few trees on it, and then used the fluid function of blender to make a water stream and a small waterfall that seemed to be flowing.
Response:
I have a good friend who studied painting together in high school. He has been fond of making micro scenes since then, just like me.
I shared this method with my friend, who thought it was very novel and creative. He even asked me for a blender course for this, and he was ready to start learning this software.
Reflection:
My idea was actually shared by my classmates in class. After the get out of class, I was thinking about how to make a nice and fast micro scene. Because the real micro scenes really need to be done for a long time. I thought that I could make a model myself, and I used blender to complete my work. Not only that, but I was surprised when it was finished. This combination of cups and realistic scenes makes me feel a bit magical. I enjoy the process of making this scene very much, and will make more similar works in the future.
