Context
My work is inspired by a short movie created by psychologist Frizt Hyder and Marianne Smiel that in year 1944. (Youtube Link: N/A)
The experiment subjects are asked to describe what happend in the movie. Which indicated that most of us will attach "human" characteristics to the abstract shapes in the movie.
Method
Creat simple polygon and circle resources, then edit the movement and shape shape shift animation in Timeline sequence.
Reflection
It's the first time to create animation by Timeline feature in Unity. I haven't find a good workflow for it, but it's worth trying. The movie experiment is inspiring that we are always attaching meanings to the abstract things based on our own experiences. For the content, I want to utilize the principle psychologist found in the experiment to create a "surprise" that things won't go with what they might imagine.
