After seeing all the projects Matt shared, I really wanted to make a VR game.'Involve your body in the process' is the most important idea. It's very interesting to have your body motion control the direction of the objects on the screen. It's a great way to get involved and get to know each other quickly, and it's a great way to ease social awkwardness.
In response to this week's topic, I designed a VR games, similar to switch the game "trick", the difference is that I want to make the VR version of Mario games, through inductive position and direction of the body to jump to the next planet, if the jumping distance is not enough or induction failure may be falling from the stars, loss of a life.I called it 'Planet Jump'.
I had originally planned to make it my first interactive VR game, but I stalled on the coding step.In order to achieve the designed sensing motion, a motion sensor is needed to capture all the motions.I bought some common temperature sensors, but I couldn't tell the exact difference between every movement I made. And the code is also a big hurdle.I learned some basic code, but the code involving sensing was too complicated for me to understand within this week, it was a very difficult task.I ended up following the original design idea, taking pictures of me jumping and walking as a character, and creating an animated demo of a planetary version of the human Mario.
The concept of the game I designed was that each planet would move or rotate in a different way.Players need to seize the moment and the distance to jump to the next planet, earning points for each success. Some of the spinning stars also need to jump through the rings, and if they do, they will lose half of their lives.

In fact, making VR games is a big challenge for me right now.The coding knowledge involved made it difficult for me to continue the project on schedule.Because I am really interested in VR games, learning coding will be a problem I need to solve in the future. I need to learn more perfect knowledge about game production. The APD course exposed me to some new software, which was a good starting point, but I needed more time to explore.
‘Beat Saber is a music rhythm game played in VR.In the game, players can use their fingertips to simulate a lightsaber to cut through a speeding square while playing dynamic music.Game features,;Smack, immersive experience and tactile feedback.’’
‘Just Dance is a DANCE game for the next generation. It can be used to bring the mood to a group gathering, and as a sports game, players can keep an eye on the calorie burn number on the screen to ensure that they are exercising.’
