Method

I wanted to create a game that encourages you to explore not just your local area but to push exploration of Meloburne's culture as well. By doing this I will create an app similar to a fighting game where players can collect characters and upgrades for those characters by visiting various locations, exploring within galleries and various establishments around the city.

Exploration app intermingled with a collecting and battle game.

Response

I think games that encourage people to explore and search are interesting and can be explored in a variety of ways. I want to try to create such an app that can allow people to both combine a gaming experience with the discovery of new places. I also had ideas of not using a fghting game but rather a calming variation where you grow some sort of a virtual world or garden inside your phone by collecting various plants from around the city or objects.
