Context:

In response to this week, I made this game in Unity. This game is a prototype and you are trying to create an image similar to the photo you come across in the game with the items in the boxes.

Method:

I made the models in blender. I used mixamo for character animation. And I painted the models in substance painter. Also I created the pictures by editing the simple renders I took in Photoshop. The characters and models were as simple as can be. I have used some of my old models. I tried to do this by using basic colors to make it as fast and simple as possible. It was the coding part that bothered me the most because I was a bit rusty. However, as I spent time, I gathered myself and was able to create this short level.


Reflection:

The game is in a prototype stage and therefore certain bugs may appear. I would like to fix those, add more levels and publish the game.  I realized that coding is just like riding a bike. It was one of the nice advantages that my undergraduate education gave me and I'm glad it worked for me here. Doing this week's work has shown me how much I miss coding. That's why I think I will use it in my other works. I could have done a better job in terms of lighting.
