Exploring the theme around subtle movements and ambient animations.

She creates animation with very simple movements on loop. 

Method:

I will use the scene I am creating for my studio project and create very subtle movements to the scene making the rest of the scene with no movement at all. For my studio project, I am using Unity to understand the HDR Pipeline. I plan on making it playful by creating the scene interactive. It's not a game, but as users or players we can move around the scene as it is baked in realtime.

I will use one scene from my studio project. I will choose the restaurant one as usually restaurants are calm and relaxing. The ambience is quiet and everyone is enjoying. I decided to keep the restaurant still and the movement of the light flicker.

Response:

I am happy with this idea as this gave me a chance to explore for new ideas for my studio project. I was clueless what to do in my restaurant scene. I wanted something in the scene to move subtly but wasn't sure what. I added a mirror that looked distorted from its view. I thought that would be a good idea so that when users/players move around the scene we can see a distorted look in the mirror. I decided that wasn't the magic element of my piece and since my project is mainly about light and I have a very colourful scene I decided to add a glowing text that flickers. I used this idea later on for my studio project.wixw
