Play and nature
For this week theme, I created a game called "Can you guess the foley?". It's a guessing game where the players would have to try to identify the sounds/foleys different videos. I used sound as the main theme for this project. The sounds used were nature related sounds(eg wind & hails) and the videos are what I would imagine has a related sound effects for them.
"The word imaginary means to be not real, to be fanciful and visionary." - Brian Sutton Smith
I would like the users to be able to come up with their own perspective of the the foley compared to the real ones.
Contex
The main inspiration for the game was "Pictionary" where the players would guess the words based on the drawings from other players.
I edited the video and sound within Adobe after effects. The sounds and videos were gotten from online and then I would try to line up the sound to the video.
The project I did this week was surrounding the idea of mind and subjective play (Sutton smith).
