With these works, I really wanted to make a collection of mini-games, and also try and do things I always wanted to make but never had a good enough excuse or motivation to actually make. I tried to make them standalone pieces that would have their own merit separately too
I think my favourites were the song maker and Abstract Art Creator because they represent what I wanted to achieve, which was try and make things that other people could make their own works with like I tried to do with most of my works. Notably the colouring game, and the polaroid maker.
But for my two favorites, I spent a lot more effort and time in than I should’ve. I did playtesting and asked for feedback, and actually incorporated the feedback to make better versions of them.
Looking back, even though I feel overwhelmed with embarrassment and regret, I can definitely feel my own improvement from time to time
I feel a bit of fondness for them too, even the mistakes, because I learnt a lot on what not to do from them, and they’re all a part of me
