I have decided to present my APD work for the semester in an interactive digital portfolio. Since my work covers a wide variety of mediums - including illustration, programming prototypes, and written game pitches - I figured that this would be the easiest and best way to showcase them all. Users can play my week 1 prototype within the engine, zoom in on artwork I have drawn, view slideshows, and see illustrated write-ups of my pitches. Each piece also has its own foreward, explaining the context and thought processes that went into making them, as well as how they relate to my practice.
In terms of aesthetics, I fashioned it in the style of a typical "conspiracy pinboard", with lots of red string and extra papers that relate to each core item. This seemed like the best visual theme for the assignment, as my work primarily centers around the impermanence of memory, player-conducted investigations, and interpreting vague clues into a broader narrative.
