Theme: Time and Play

Music and Time often goes together, they are both a sense of rhythm in this ever-expanding chaos.

A synced Visual experience to an Audio is truly a mesmerising experience. A lot of music visuals play with this idea and rhythm of time and sync to create mysterium tremendum.

Chemical Brother's song StarGuitar, Directed by Michel Gondry plays with rhythmic visuals in a really interesting way, He has visually represented the MIDI Sequence of a full song in a very interesting natural visual. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S43IwBF0uM

All Audio Visual responses Play with this idea of time and rhythm to create a sense of sync in beautiful chaos.

I have been working on an audio-reactive system from past semester's IOL subject for my Studio's Immersive AV experience. Playing and completing on that system I created this.
The underlying Architecture and scripts will also feed into my Studio Project.

These Gits by Keijiro are also a great resource for grabbing those audio spectrums: https://github.com/keijiro?utf8=%E2%9C%93&tab=repositories&q=audio&type=&language=

.

A good Music Visual is truly trance-inducing, it has the ability to capture one right at this moment. Just staring and trying to figure out what is reacting to what instrument is surely meditative.

I Play with the idea of Time in a number of ways in this response:
Time as Rhythm, each evolving neuron responds to a particular instrument(/frequency), creating a synced visual.
The whole experience is a loop in itself, it's realtime and is everchanging even if the same song is loaded it'll give a different visual approach, It's repetitive yet very much not.
Each previous frame is snapshotted and paused which gives us this interesting visual response, which is also a play with time in a technical context.

Time is a mesmerizing Construct.
Can you figure out what neuron reacts to what instrument? best with headphones!
