I. THE WRONG TROUSERS (1993)
1. The wrong trousers is a British stop-motion animated short film directed by Nick Park.
2. This movie is about Wallace, who in order to pay off debts, rents out a room to a penguin and about Wallace's techno-trousers which can be used to walk on walls and cielings. The penguin turns out to be a wanted criminal. With a series of twists and turns, the protagonists are able to help the police get hold of the penguin and imprison him. They later pay off their debts with the reward money that they get.
3. The characters and sountrack are cartoonish style. The movie also turns hilarious as the protagonists make efforts to catch the penguin. Solid colours have been used all over in the animation.
4. The movie had multiple sound alterations in its subsequent releases which made it better.
5. The short movie has won an academy award for the best animated short film in the year 1994.
II. SANJAY'S SUPER TEAM (2015)
1. Sanjay's super team is animated short film written and directed by Sanjay Patel and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. This film is unique in its own way as it is inspired by the writer and directer's own childhood as he belongs to India and is a Hindu by religion, he imagines all Hindu Gods to be superheroes.
2. This movie is interesting because of its plot and animation. This movie is about time travel as the protagonist Sanjay gets to time travel one day while trying to extinguis a flame his father lit up for meditation.
3. The main attraction point of this animated movie is the way 3d animation has been done here. Smooth 3d animation has been combined with vfx to enhance the effects of time and space travel by the protagonist.
4. The work done on facial expressions and body gestures enhance the cartoonish appearance of the short film.
III. TIN TOY (1988)
1. Tin toy is an american short film directed by John Lasseter.
2. This computer generated animation which is 5 minutes in length is about a mechanical toy which tries to escape from an infant upon learning how destructive a child can be. Somewhere in the middle of the movie, the child starts crying because he is not able to catch hold of its toy. In order to cheer him up the toy returns to the baby. But, the baby in turn gets dis interested in the meantime and is distracted by more stuff.
3. This characters in the movie give almost the same expressions all over. The sound effects resemble to those of the real life sounds.
4. This was the first CGI Film to win an Oscar.
