On top of the folio plan of last week, I am trying to emerge ideas developed from the egg story of animation design. I have drawn a mind-map for the ideas. Previously, I am developing the idea through the perspective of the children who try to save those eggs. To fruitful the story, I am trying to give deeper range and depth of the story with the adult’s perspective.
In the perspective of an adult, eating unfertilized eggs of our own can be a resolution to food shortage and maintain the balance in the food chain from the extensive needs of humans. In the designed world, people are taught to be living and eating those unfertilized eggs since they are born. The ethical issue is often hidden and is overridden by the benefits of this action which makes people believe they are on the right track. They have a strong belief in what they have been taught about balancing the world habit by eating their unfertilized eggs and working for the factories whole-heartedly.
Putting aside the ethical issue that this action can bring to us, eating our own babies is actually a normal event happening in the nature of carnivores according to Rebecca Jacobson (2014). It is possible that parents eat their kids to increase the survival chance of the remaining one while resuming energy from it.
Neglecting the issue behinds, in the story most people in the world agree and are working in relating to the food supply chain industry.
A birth factory is for the women to give birth to fertilized and unfertilized eggs. Then the fertilized eggs will be sent to the farm for hatching and raising. The unfertilized eggs will be sent to a food factory where they will be processed into food. Food is exported to every single place in the world including the factory, the farm, and homes for humans.
Characters:
The Adults are trying their best to maintain the continuity and high efficiency of the progress daily.
Breeders and securities are working in the birth factory.
Farmers are working on the farm to hatch and raise the eggs. The eggs will then be sent to different homes where they will join a family and be raised by different parents.
Workers and securities are working in the food factory.

Similar work has been shown in the japan manga “The Promised Neverland” where kids are sent to farms and being raised as food for the world's masters. What difference is that those being eaten are kids who ranged from around 5-11 years old but not unfertilized. It develops events and actions when characters are facing the dilemma of balancing world habit and morality. A similar idea can also be found in the game Little Nightmares (2017), which is about monsters capture and process children as their meal. The Struggle of survival of the main character (Six) has led the main storyline to fight against those trying to eat her. The game is designed for players to witness the developing internal state inside Six who turns from a decent kid into a violent and insatiable.
At first, there is not much to tell at the beginning of both stories. Then the characters tell the story more and more when events happened in changing environments and only reveal the truth at the end of the story which increases the tension and curiosity. The way of peeling the truth along with the direct plot of the story could be referenced in my plot design later on.
It is also interesting when the differentiation of perspectives from adults and children to be investigated are quite similar in these examples. It is objective to say that the main character, who acts as the hero in the story is often of a children's perspective to view the plot. The audience is having a generally subjective narrative from this particular innocent and heroic perspective.
