This week I continued to explore the story I wrote last week and express it in another way. I made a storyboard for it.
It will be closer to a traditional linear story than last week's version. I believe this will make my story easier to understand. Around the theme 'fall of giant', I moved the story to before the fact of the fall. I want to express my story in a metaphorical way. The confict happened between the characters (giants and parasites) can be used to metaphor a society, a family or anything you can associate with.
I got some inspiration from Redley Scott's film Prometheus. At the beginning of the film, there is a clip of a giant dying after drinking black water. The director didn't clearly explain what this clip meant, He used some images to connect with the rest of the film and gave the audience enough openness to guess his real intention.I believe this way makes Prometheus more classic.It can attract people to watch movies many times and discuss it.
I perfer this form to telling stories directly,so I give up the narrative structure of traditional 'Hero's Journey',I even want to make my story look  more incomplete.
